YOUR VEV27 BOOKING
What your private plot includes
Your plot is your private base inside the Village: vehicle, observation and stay area in one space.
You may also place tents, chairs, tables, awnings, tripods, cameras and telescopes within your plot. Everything must fit inside the booked boundaries. Tents permitted on Standard, Large and XL pitches only, never BUS; no fires of any kind.
VEV27Vehicle + private observation and stay area
Your booked plot brings your vehicle and your private observation and stay area together in the same space. The total plot size depends on the option booked.
Your vehicle sits inside the booked plot and the remaining space is your private area for viewing the eclipse and staying beside it.
Arrival on 1 August and overnight stay inside your own vehicle according to the booked option and venue rules.
Covered shared areas with tables and chairs, toilets and lighting in key areas.
Organised access and traffic control, Village programme and eclipse follow-up on site.
Food and drinks will be available on site. Consumption is not included in the plot price.

How the venue will be organised
This plan shows a conceptual layout to help you visualise the main BVEV27 areas. The final arrangement may be adjusted according to the definitive technical plan and the event's operational needs.
You can enter on 1 August or during your assigned window on the 2nd.
Your vehicle and private stay area remain together. Only Standard, Large and XL pitches allow tents and sleeping in them. BUS pitches do not allow tents. No equipment may extend beyond its boundaries, and all fires are forbidden.
Observation, programme and Village services without searching for parking at the last minute.
Vehicle movement will be coordinated to protect access, emergency routes and observation.

Get ready to photograph totality
A photography talk or workshop is planned for the day before the eclipse, focusing on preparing your equipment, planning your shots and understanding the challenges of photographing totality.

An H-alpha solar telescope reveals chromospheric detail that is normally invisible: prominences, filaments and active regions. VEV27 plans to connect an H-alpha telescope to the large screen so the whole Village can share the view.

Plan your arrival
Each vehicle may receive an entry window. From 23:00 on 1 August, vehicles inside the venue may not leave until traffic is reopened after the eclipse, except in an emergency or when instructed by the organisation or authorities.
On 2 August, from 09:00, vehicle access may be closed for mobility and safety reasons, including for vehicles with a pre-registration.
