Pre-booking terms
Version BVEV27-PRERESERVA-V9 · Last updated: 14 October 2026
English translation of the current Spanish legal document. The Spanish source and its legal version remain unchanged. In case of a discrepancy, refer to the Spanish source and applicable mandatory consumer rights.

The pre-booking concerns Vejer Eclipse Village 2027 (VEV27). The prospective operating company's proposed name is Vejer Eclipse Village 2027, S.L.; it is still awaiting incorporation and has not been registered in Spain's Companies Register. References to that name at this stage identify a future entity, not an already registered company. Acts performed on behalf of the project before incorporation and actual takeover of operations are subject to the applicable pre-registration legal framework.
2. Nature of pre-booking
Pre-booking records one or more vehicle spaces for VEV27 on 1 and 2 August 2027. It is a precontractual step without payment, not a paid booking, creates no automatic charge and does not authorise VEV27 to charge later without further action by the customer. A confirmed pre-booking retains the vehicle space and price confirmed by the system in accordance with these terms for the applicable formalisation period.
3. Vehicle space, guaranteed price and tariff
Each selected vehicle creates one individual space and retains the price confirmed when the pre-booking is registered. If several spaces are booked together, each retains its category and guaranteed price. Every physical vehicle, including a coach, counts as one space for capacity and physical allocation; this is separate from coach commercial pricing.
For Standard, Large and Extra Large, the current tariff applies until the first 500 vehicle spaces are taken or until 31 December 2026, whichever occurs first; afterwards the general tariff applies to new pre-bookings of those categories. Coaches have specific tariffs by organiser category: €75 per certified-capacity seat for travel agencies/tour operators, €85 for associations, clubs, companies, organisations and organised groups, and €100 for private groups. These coach tariffs are not marketed as Early Bird. [This paragraph translates the unchanged Spanish V9 source; current displayed tariffs must always be checked in the app.]
The guaranteed price applies when formalising payment by the deadline communicated for that pre-booking. If the customer does not complete the transaction by then, the pre-booking can expire and the space be released. Because nothing is charged now, expiry or voluntary withdrawal involves no financial penalty or repayment.
4. Vehicle categories and details
Standard: under 6 m; Large: 6–8 m; Extra Large: 8–12 m. Coach tariffs depend on the vehicle's certified seating capacity, not its final occupancy. Customers must select a category suitable for their vehicle and subsequently provide or update operational vehicle details required for entry.
5. Venue location and possible relocation
The published location is the venue currently planned for VEV27; it does not guarantee use of a specific property, plot, entrance or coordinates. VEV27 may relocate for objective and justified reasons, including property availability or suitability, loss of use, permissions or authorisations, requirements of owners or public authorities, civil protection, safety, emergencies, accessibility, mobility, traffic, land conditions, environmental risks, essential technical or operational needs, force majeure or other circumstances beyond reasonable control that affect lawful, safe or proper delivery.
An alternative will preferably be within Vejer de la Frontera. Where one of these reasons makes that impossible or unsuitable, it may instead be in another location within the path of totality with at least 3 minutes 30 seconds of forecast astronomical totality, while substantially preserving access, parking and essential services. References to more than four minutes describe the presently planned site and are not immutable where relocation is permitted.
A relocation meeting these conditions does not itself cancel the event or automatically confer cancellation or refund rights. Any material alteration of essential services, or case protected by mandatory law, is subject to the corresponding statutory rights.
6. Future contract and payment
Before payment opens, VEV27 will clearly provide the relevant provider's complete legal identity and details, total price, included benefits, payment, cancellation, refunds, any applicable withdrawal right, assistance and complaints procedures and other mandatory precontractual information. To convert a pre-booking into a final booking the customer must complete the notified process, expressly accept the then-current paid-booking terms and pay successfully. The booking becomes firm only once the system confirms payment and VEV27 issues confirmation.
7. Entrance and arrival times
VEV27 may assign each vehicle an arrival slot. The holder must arrive within the communicated slot, follow signs and instructions and respect the final entry deadline. On 2 August, from 09:00, VEV27 may close or deny vehicle entry, even for vehicles with pre-bookings or reservations, where required for safe mobility arrangements, emergency access or instructions from public authorities. The measure will be proportional to operational and safety requirements.
8. Vehicle stay and departure
From 23:00 on 1 August 2027, vehicles inside the venue may not leave until VEV27 announces that circulation has reopened after the eclipse, except in emergencies or where specifically authorised by the organiser, security services or authorities.
9. Overnight stays, conduct and safety
Sleeping inside the vehicle is allowed. On Standard, Large and XL pitches only, tents may also be erected entirely within the contracted pitch. Tents are not permitted on coach pitches. Each pitch may contain only one physical vehicle, together with tents where permitted, awnings, chairs, tables, tripods, cameras, telescopes and similar equipment, provided nothing encroaches on neighbouring pitches, roads or emergency access. All fires and open flames are absolutely prohibited without exceptions, including for cooking: barbecues, stoves, candles, braziers and fireworks are banned throughout the venue. Venue Rules and safety, noise, conduct and environmental instructions must be followed.
10. Eclipse, weather and visibility
VEV27 organises parking spaces, access and the described services; it cannot guarantee weather, cloud-free skies or visibility of the astronomical event. If the contracted service can substantially be delivered, clouds, unfavourable weather or visibility alone do not cancel the event or automatically entitle the customer to cancel or receive a refund.
11. Force majeure, authorities and impossibility
VEV27 may implement reasonable changes where needed due to force majeure, emergency, safety, fires, natural events, administrative restrictions, authority decisions, civil protection, severe mobility problems or other objective circumstances affecting lawful or safe performance. If paid contracting or the event ultimately becomes impossible, the free pre-booking may be terminated at no cost; as no money was paid at this stage there is nothing to refund. This does not limit mandatory rights applying to subsequent paid bookings.
12. Communications and data updates
Customers must provide accurate contact details and keep them up to date. Operational communications about pre-booking, opening of payment, formalisation, location, access, safety or significant changes may be delivered using the contact channels connected with the customer's account or pre-booking.
13. Personal data
Personal information is used to handle pre-bookings, customer accounts, operational messages and, where applicable, future contracting under the Privacy Policy. The version and reference of these accepted terms are retained as evidence of the precontractual request.
14. Related rules and mandatory rights
Pre-bookings are also subject to the Venue Rules. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or restrict consumer rights recognised by mandatory law.
