This is how the Sun can look in H-alpha

An H-alpha solar telescope reveals chromospheric detail that is normally invisible: prominences, filaments and active regions. VEV27 plans to connect an H-alpha telescope to the large screen so the whole Village can share the view.

From the opening on 1 August at 15:00, vehicles with a confirmed reservation may arrive at any time. Final astronomical times will be calculated by coordinate. After totality ends on 2 August, vehicles may depart progressively from approximately 11:00. By around 20:00, most vehicles not remaining on site are expected to have left. Certain vehicles may remain and stay overnight from 2 to 3 August only if the organiser enables this option and the operational conditions and relevant authorisations permit it. Final schedules and conditions may be adjusted for safety, mobility and requirements from the authorities.
